A thrifty idea...

Happy Thursday everyone! If anyone wants to know, I am definitely sore from the gym workout yesterday! Not to mention the gym was packed full of "new years resolution-ers"! :)

So if you're like me, you buy way too much jewelry. Not so much expensive, fancy jewelry, but fashion jewelry from maybe Forever 21, Tobi, Love Culture, Old Navy, etc. My main purchases always seem to be earrings, whether they be studs, bangles, or hoops. I just feel like you can't go wrong with a fierce pair of earrings that everyone will notice :) Unfortunately, my jewelry box is getting so full, my earrings are all starting to run together, and I have a difficult time finding a matching pair!

Here is a quick, easy, and cute way to re-organize them:

Take any old picture frame you have (and disregard any photo in it). If you don't have an old picture frame, you can purchase one cheap at Ikea, Walmart, Target, or even go to some thrift stores for great finds. You can find ones with pretty trim around the edges like this one, or just a plain square frame.
The second piece of material you will need is a radiator cover (any color, any design); you can pick these up at any hardware store like Home Depot or Lowes. Just make sure it has little holes in it like this one for earring slots.
Very carefully, measure and cut the radiator cover to fit inside the picture frame (it can be as small or as big as you would like). You can either glue the radiator cover to the inside of the frame or use packing tape (whichever your preference). Here is what the finished product will look like.....

.....a beautiful new display to hold many more pairs of those gorgeous earrings you purchase :)
